I thought I would do a quick update because I have had several people asking what was going on with my situation. I finally was able to have a phone consultation with the fertility specialist in Cali. He went over all my records and told me that he thinks I should have surgery to, basically, clean me out. He said the cysts and polyp are pretty much acting like an IUD. Lovely. The surgery, will give me a good 3-5 years, he's hoping, of no cysts. He thinks if everything is looking healthy and there isn't a significant amount of scar tissue, that we may be able to get preggers on our own. If things are looking pretty bad, than we will just go ahead and start the invitro process. But wouldn't it be amazing if we didn't have to do invitro?
Brad and I feel really good about this decision. I was actually supposed to go into surgery this Thursday, but the nurse called and rescheduled me to the beginning of January. My OB wants me to be the only procedure for the day since my situation is a little more "complicated." Fun times.
Anyway, I feel like this is going to work for us, and even if we still do have to do invitro, having this surgery will give me healthier eggs, which in turn gives us a higher success rate.
Wish me luck! Hopefully by the spring we'll be preggers! :)

Wow, surgery = no fun. The possibility of having another baby = great! Hope everything goes well! Is this an outpatient thing or will you have to stay in the hospital for a while?

Hey Scarlett! I found you on Cami's blog. How are you? I was looking at your pictures and remembering how beautiful you are! You seriously have always been gorgeous! I've had a kind of similar issue in my past and had to have a mass surgically removed, lost half my ovary. I was able to get pregnant after that with some help, but I'm now encouraged to have my children as close together as I can b/c eventually I could become infertile again and the masses could grow back. But I'd much rather have my kids crazy close, than not be able to have them ;) So that's what we're doing! I hope your surgery is a success! And that you can take advantage of the fertile period following! Keep me updated!
