Gosh, It's about time I'm getting this post done! Brad did show me how to put the pics on the computer. So now I just need to remember how to do it......

The night of the 24th we hung out with the Clegg side of the fam. We had a BBQ and played some beach volleyball.(It wasn't on the beach, we were playing with a beach ball.) Anyway, then we did the whole fireworks thing. Kassi loved it, she just didn't want to get too close. It was way fun. I'm lucky I have such a great family!

Ok, I posted a lot of pics, and they aren't even in order! I'm still getting the hang of all this! My sister-in-law, Shannon, and her kids, Luke and Ava, came to visit us from St Louis. It was way fun having them here. But we missed Jordan. We love you Jordan! We celebrated Luke's 4th b-day while they were here. Kassi just loves being around her cousins! It was so great to be able to spend time with them since we only get to see them twice a year!

The reason why I put 24th part one is because I only posted pics of the daytime activity. I still haven't figured out how to transfer pics from my camera to the computer and Brad won't show me how. I think he thinks I will mess something up and end up erasing everything. He's probably right. I am horrible with computers, but I am getting better. Anyway, My mom, Laura, Brad, and me went up to Silver Lake so Brad could do some fishing. We stopped at the Silver Fork Lodge Cafe and ate lunch. The food was ok. Nothing too great, but somewhere I would go again. Then we headed to the Lake. Ok, I had never been up there before I married into the Clegg family, and they introduced me to this heavenly place. It is absolutely gorgeous! It's great because there is a walkway around the lake and pretty stroller friendly the whole way through. This is my new favorite outdoorsy spot. I LOVE IT! Unfortunately it is not very big, so it can get crowded very fast. And it was very crowded on the 24th, so Brad didn't catch anything. But we still had a blast up there. Sorry about all the pics I posted this time. I didn't realize there were so many until I was scrolling up and there didn't seem to be an end. Well, there is only more to come! Part two will be coming shortly. Or as soon as Brad will post these pics for me! Love you honey!

Girl's Lunch

So, I have the best friends ever! Every month I get together with 4 of my best friends. We usually go out to dinner or go to someones house without our children to have a fun night of girl bonding. This month was a little crazy, so we decided to go to lunch instead and bring our children. Since we had our kids this month, we decided to go to good ole' McD's. It was way fun. I love my girls and am so blessed to have such great friends! I got home and my in-laws were outside and decided to take some pics of Kassi in front of their beautiful flowers. Since I had my camera handy, I decided to snap a few myself. They actually turned out pretty cute, considering I can never get Kassi to look at the camera, and if she does she is always blinking. Oh well!

JOYS
1. Spending time with Kassi. She is at the funnest age!
2. Spending time with Brad. I feel it is so important in a marriage to spend time together. It doesn't happen as often as I would like, but I love it when it does!
3. Just being able to sit down, relax, and do NOTHING! When does that happen? UM, hardly ever, but I love it when it does.

FEARS
1. Ok, I am pretty much the most paranoid person you will ever meet. I wouldn't call myself a pessimist, I'm just VERY careful and cautious with things when it comes to my family. So my #1 fear is anything happening to Kassi. She is my life and if anyone ever harms her..........
2. Also my biggest fear is anything happening to Brad. He is my best friend, and the love of my life. I never want to live without him. After saying those 2 things, I just want to say how grateful I am that I know our family will be together forever.
3. I am so afraid of natural disasters, and I won't be prepared when it happens. I guess I should do something about that.......

Current Obsessions
1. Ok, I am obsessed with food. Yes, I will come out and admit it, I LOVE to eat! It's a good thing I have IBS because if I didn't I would probably be 500 pounds!
2. Right now I am obsessed with becoming pregnant. I miscarried over a year ago and have not been able to get preg, so now it is something that is always on my mind.
3. I think I am getting obsessed with blogging. Not just writing on mine, but reading other peoples. That is what made me decide to finally start one. I just love reading about other people's lives!

Surprising Facts
1. Gosh, I think I am an open book, I don't know if there are any surprising facts about me. Umm, I am totally scared of the ocean. I don't like swimming and not knowing what is under me. I am not scared of swimming in lakes, though.
2. I am an animal lover. I wish I could adopt every dog, cat, hamster, bird, (pretty much anything but snakes or spiders) and give them homes. I hate to think about how many animals are put to sleep everyday because they don't have homes.
3. I would also like to adopt a child or be a foster parent. I look at Jarom and Heather, and what they went through to get Danny. Now Danny is going to grow up in a great home with great parents and he wouldn't have gotten that in Ethiopia. I hope I can do that for a child someday.

Ok, I am finally starting a blog. Well, I started this one a few months ago and never quite finished the process. I'm still confused about some things, so be patient, very patient, please! I don't really know where to start. So much to tell, so little time. Yesterday was the fourth, and was such a fun day! We went over to my sis-in-law Wendy's house and swam and had lunch. Kassi had only been swimming once before, (I know, she's deprived) so she was a little apprehensive about the whole thing. After awhile she started loving it, but she wouldn't let go of Brad the whole time. We then went over to my parent's house and had a BBQ. The kids have so much fun playing. Then we stayed up to watch my parent's neighbor's fireworks. Kassi loved them as long as we didn't get too close. I brought my camera, but of course forgot to take pics. I will be better now that I am doing this blog. I am going to post pics of our trip to Disneyland back in April. We had a blast. That is all Kassi seems to talk about now. Well, this is going to take some getting used to. I'm not really sure how to end my entry. So bye for now! Well, I am having some technical difficulties. I thought this would be easy, but for the life of me, I just can't figure out how to post pics! I will figure this out eventually. So if you see this w/out any pics, that is why. Sorry!
