Christmas Eve

We had so much fun on Christmas Eve. We met my side of the family at the movies and saw 'Tangled.' It was SO cute! We all loved it, especially Kassi. Afterward we went to a late lunch at Fuddruckers. Here are some pics.
Laura and catching Jordan in a classic oldest sibling pose. Shaking his finger at someone, probably telling them what to do. LOL!

Next we went to Brad's side of the family's Christmas Eve get together. We ate an amazing dinner, did the nativity with the kids, and then opened some gifts.
Kassi was Mary.

Kassi got a pretty barbie from Uncle Jesse and Aunt Kristen.

And Zhu Zhu pet stuff from Grandpa and Grandma C.

Like I said, such a fun Christmas Eve. Now on to Christmas!

Kassi and Ava

Here I am, lying in bed after my SURGERY. I got it done a couple days ago and am recovering pretty well. I'm not going to blog about this experience quite yet, though. I'm gonna wait to go see my Dr for my follow up appt and determine what our next step is, then I'll let all ya'll know. Plus I think I'm a little too drugged up to write about anything serious. And I have a lot of Christmas pics to post.

Here is a pic of Kassi in her Christmas dress. Such a princess.

My brother, Jordan, came with his fam to visit us for Christmas from St Louis. It had been a year since I'd seen him and TWO since I'd seen his wife and children. We were delighted to have them here. Kassi was especially excited because Jordan's daughter, Ava, was gonna be here for her to play with. Kassi loves playing with all her cousins, but most of the ones that are her age are boys. So for Kassi to have someone to play princess stuff with? She was in heaven. Ava slept over at our house on the 23rd, and I just had to take pics of the two drama queens.

They were so cute, and had so much fun together. Kassi was devastated when they left. We hope they come visit us again soon!

Clegg Family Christmas Party 2010/Baby Max

I think I say this in my post every year, but I so look forward to this Christmas party with Brad's side of the family. It is such a huge ordeal with yummy food, tons of people, and of course Santa. This year was fun as always, unfortunately we had to duck out of there early cause my brother and sister-in-law had their baby that day and we wanted to go see him before it was too late. But a wonderful day altogether. Here's some pics.

Festival of Trees 2010

We LOVE the Festival of Trees and go every year. I didn't get a ton of pics. It's always so crowded when you get there I never want to stop the line to take a pic of a particular tree I really like. Anyway, I am always amazed at how beautiful the trees are. People do such a great job decorating the trees and it's for such a good cause. I just love it!

Here are Kassi and Zach before going in. Danny was being a little camera shy.

I had to sneak a pic of Danny.

Kassi and Danny with Santa. Zach didn't want to be in this pic.

All three kids watching the dancers.

It was so fun! A great start to the Christmas season. We had a blast!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we were at my parent's house for Thanksgiving. It was wonderful! My mom made a such a great Thanksgiving feast. I ate and ate and ate. And when I thought I was done eating, I ate some more. It was such a fun day. That night we headed over to Brad's parent's house. We had more food and more fun. Then we went home, put Kassi to bed, and I headed out again to my parent's house to get ready for BLACK FRIDAY! My mom, sister, and me, headed out at midnight for the first time this year. We usually go out around 4am. We got some great deals and had a blast. I can't wait for next year!

What's next? Surgery.

I thought I would do a quick update because I have had several people asking what was going on with my situation. I finally was able to have a phone consultation with the fertility specialist in Cali. He went over all my records and told me that he thinks I should have surgery to, basically, clean me out. He said the cysts and polyp are pretty much acting like an IUD. Lovely. The surgery, will give me a good 3-5 years, he's hoping, of no cysts. He thinks if everything is looking healthy and there isn't a significant amount of scar tissue, that we may be able to get preggers on our own. If things are looking pretty bad, than we will just go ahead and start the invitro process. But wouldn't it be amazing if we didn't have to do invitro?

Brad and I feel really good about this decision. I was actually supposed to go into surgery this Thursday, but the nurse called and rescheduled me to the beginning of January. My OB wants me to be the only procedure for the day since my situation is a little more "complicated." Fun times.

Anyway, I feel like this is going to work for us, and even if we still do have to do invitro, having this surgery will give me healthier eggs, which in turn gives us a higher success rate.

Wish me luck! Hopefully by the spring we'll be preggers! :)

More Halloween Pics!

Our lil' family on Halloween. (Well, on Saturday, the Mormon Halloween. LOL!)

Kassi, Zachy, and Danny. I couldn't get them to all stand up, so this is the best we could do with all three of them.

Kassi enjoying her candy.

We had such a fun Halloween! I already can't wait for next year!
