I can't wait for Eclipse to come out! Just a little over a month away! YAY! I also have all the soundtracks that have come out. I can't wait for Eclipse's soundtrack. Well, Muse is such an awesome band, and their song off Eclipse just came out. It is AMAZING! One of those make your heart pound give you goosebumps songs. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Mother's Day.....in the ER
So Sunday morning I woke up and my stomach was hurting. Not really new since I have IBS. As I continued getting ready for church the pain started to get more intense. I was getting frustrated cause it was Mother's Day, and I didn't want to miss Kassi singing in Sacrament Meeting. I couldn't take it anymore and had to lie down. Brad was like,"What should we do? Do you need to go to the ER?" I DID NOT want to go to the ER. I hate going there. I told Brad to just go to church. I had a primary class he would have to teach, and he just got put in as Young Men's President and had to teach, so he couldn't miss that. He was really hesitant to leave but I insisted.
By the time he got home from church it felt as though someone was slicing open my abdomen. I have never been in pain like this before(besides labor). He rushed me to the ER. Thank goodness my wonderful sister Laura came to the ER to get Kassi. I have to say. I just don't get the ER. I know life threatening emergencies come first, obviously, but what about all the other people sitting in the ER? It's first come first serve. I was sitting there doubled over in pain, bawling like a baby, everyone staring at me, and they were letting people who had colds go before me. I was hoping, praying that someone would be nice enough to let me go before them, but that didn't happen. I guess I was only waiting for probably about 45 min or so, but when you are in such severe pain, that seems like forever.
I finally get back there and they get me a room. In walk a nurse and someone observing them. They want to get blood and put in an IV. Finally, I thought. Some pain meds. Well, the nurse sticks me in one arm. Oops, missed it and burst a vain. On to the next arm. Oops, missed again. Don't you love that? They miss it, yet they continue to dig around hoping to find another? What's a little more pain to add to the rest I'm feeling? Then he has the nerve to say,"Man, this is really hurting my ego." Really? Well this is really hurting my arm ya JERK! He then gets the IV in my hand. I soon found out he put it in the most sensitive vain in my hand.
He leaves the room. The Dr comes in. Sweetest guy, ever. NOT! This Dr had no personality. Talks to me a bit, and finally tells me he's gonna get me some pain meds. He leaves. We wait. And wait. And wait. Brad is a pretty patient guy, but he was pissed. He went out twice to see what the hold up was. Finally, sweet relief. They brought the morphine in.
Anyway, this is turning into a much longer story than I anticipated, as usual. They did ultrasounds and catscans(sp?) and determined I had an ovarian cyst burst. Sounds so simple, yet is so painful. They kept me for awhile longer to make sure there wouldn't be any internal bleeding and they wouldn't have to do surgery.
Finally at 11pm I was released. Not too happy with my experience at the IMC, but I guess it could've been much worse. This week has been pretty rough. When I was at the ER they said my white blood cell count was high. Come to find out I also have an UTI. So fun.
Anyway, I am on antibiotics and on the mend. I've missed out on several things I am totally bummed about,(Heber Camp) but I am just glad I am starting to feel like myself again. Plus Brad had gotten me a massage for Mother's Day. I can't wait for that! I'm sure it will complete the healing process. Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day!

Brad's Birthday Week!
Brad has his 29th birthday on April 17th. Man did we have a fun filled week! His first party was the Sunday before his birthday with my family. He got some great gifts from my family and we had a lot of fun with everyone there. Here are some pics.

Brad's work is awesome! They give their employees their birthdays off. Since Brad's was on a Saturday, he was able to take Friday off. We decided to go up to Park City to the outlets to do some shopping. We had a ton of fun and found some killer deals. I was going to take pics of us up there, but I only managed to remember taking pics of us driving up there.

On Saturday, Brad opened his gifts in the morning,(Seinfeld Scene It game, a new Wii game, and Jerry Seinfeld tickets. He's coming in June. Brad is a HUGE Seinfeld fan!) Brad proceeded to play his Wii game for the rest of the day. Hey it's his birthday. What do ya do? Well, that night we went to La Caille. Before you start thinking that Brad and I are rolling in the dough, cause we're not, it was for Brad's work. It was for the Sandy Boys and Girl's club, and his boss bought a table for the event, and since he likes Brad so much,(what's not to like?), we were some of the lucky few that got to go. It just happened to fall on Brad's birthday. Neither one of us had been before, so it was such a neat experience to go there. Absolutely beautiful, but totally overpriced. The food was ok. But I actually like what I get at Chili's more than what I ate there. And the portions are so small. I ate a salad that probably cost $30, and there were like 6 pieces of lettuce. Crazy. The only way I would go back there is if I could go for free, again, or if I became extremely wealthy. Which that won't happen, so I'm just glad I could go at least once to say that I've been. Anyway, here are some pics.

TV Addict
Ok, I will come right out and admit it. I am addicted to the TV. Don't get me wrong. I don't sit and watch TV all day. No way. How is that even possible with a 5 year old and a job that feels like it takes up the rest of my life. I have a DVR. It is an angel. A lifesaver. The best thing that has ever happened to TV. So instead of watching TV during the day, I wait til Kassi goes to bed and watch the shows Brad wants to watch, then Brad goes to bed and I stay up and watch the shows I want to watch. I am a total night owl. I can't help it. Going to bed before midnight seems like complete bobblesquash(I totally just made up that word)to me. I know I should, but I can't seem to turn my mind off before then.
Anyway, today, the worst of all worsts(don't you just love my English today?)has happened. My DVR broke. Yup, that's right, gone. I realized this as I was working today. I went to turn the TV on for Kassi, and the power wouldn't come on. So, in between work calls, I was unplugging, twisting, lifting cords every direction possible. Nothing worked. Nada. Zip. I had to wait till I was done working, and then I made the dreaded call. I hate calling anywhere that has anything to do with electronics cause, lets face it, I am totally not electronic savvy. I get on the phone with Comcast and let them know my problem. Suffice it to say, they had me do everything I had already done, and then proceeded to ask me stupid questions like if I had checked the batteries. Yes, I told them. I'm dumb, but not that dumb.
They then told me the worst thing imaginable. The DVR is broken, and I am going to have to get a new one. No way, not possible. And how soon can I get a new one? Wednesday morning they told me. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! What was I going to do? 24 AND Dancing with the Stars was on tonight. I can't watch both of them at the same time. That's why I have the DVR. So your telling me I am going to have to miss one, AND watch the other one(gasp)LIVE? That's just crazy talk. I can't tell you the last time I watched a show live with the commercials. Of course, I chose to watch 24. That wasn't even a question. Then the unimaginable happened. I asked the poor tech support guy if getting a new DVR meant losing all the shows I have recorded. But I knew the answer even before he said it. Yes. All those new season premiers, and season finales I have not yet seen are gone. I called Brad in tears, traumatized by all that was happening. He said he would look into it more when he got home from work. But I knew it was over, and I was just going to have to suck it up and move on.
Well, 24 starts at 8, and Kassi doesn't usually go to bed until 8:30 or 9. Frantically I told Brad that we had to get Kassi ready for bed ASAP! What in the world did I do before a DVR? Oh yeah, I didn't watch TV. I look back now and feel bad. I was totally like a drill sargent. I was yelling out every command. Poor Kassi didn't know what had hit her.(Not literally, of course.)
We got Kassi to bed with minutes to spare, and began watching 24. That show is intense enough to watch regularly, but to have to watch it with commercials was a killer. After, I spent the next 2 hours watching 2 shows on the computer. And now I am blogging. My butts asleep, my eyes are tired and strained from sitting too close to the computer, and my back aches from leaning over to get a good look at the screen. But I am a little more content having watched 2 shows that I desperately didn't want to miss.
Am I a little crazy? Are any of you addicted to some TV shows like I am? Are you addicted to your DVR or TiVo? They are lifesavers, but life spenders at the same time. I guess once I get used to doing things a certain way it really throws me off to have it changed.
Now what the heck am I going to do tomorrow night? Dancing with the Stars, or American Idol? Biggest Loser or Glee? Luckily V is on by itself at 9.
All I have to say is thank goodness for modern technology. My house would be much cleaner without it.
My top 11 shows I CANNOT live without:
1.Vampire Diaries-My new obsession. Can't wait for it every week!
2.Glee-LOVE IT!
3.24-Jack Bauer rocks!
4.Chuck-It's like 24, but funny. A can't miss!
5.Life Unexpected-Great new show. Has a great story line. Great actors. Great everything.
6.American Idol-Need I say more?
7.V-Creepy, but addicting alien take over the world show.
8.Biggest Loser-Who doesn't love shows that make you feel guilty about sitting there eating popcorn?
9.The Middle, Modern Family, Cougar Town-All HILARIOUS shows! LOVE THEM!
10.The Office-One of my fav shows of all time. Love Steve Carrell!
11.Survivor-A great show that keeps you guessing what everyone is thinking.
What's really sad about this list is that it was supposed to be a top 5, but I just kept adding more shows I love. And there's even more, Marriage Ref, Accidentally on Purpose, Who do you think you are?, Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model, 19 kids and counting, and Parks and Recreation.
That is why I am so sad. I don't have much time to watch TV, so my DVR was full with these shows just waiting to be watched. Why watch them if I don't have time, you ask. I don't know. I get caught up eventually. Usually after the season ends and everything is in repeats.
Anyway, I will survive. Now that it is almost 1 in the morning I should probably get some sleep.
Oh, and Brad's bday was over the weekend. We had tons of fun. Pictures of that coming soon!

Easter Pics
Easter was so wonderful this year! First off, conference. Wasn't it amazing? There were so many great talks! On Saturday in between conferences we went over to my in-laws for an Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast!

After we went back to our house, we watched conference, and then Brad dropped us off at my parents house while he went to Priesthood with his Dad. At my parent's house we had another Easter egg hunt.

Easter is such a fun holiday, especially when you have kids, but, I want to express my love for my Savior. Because of him I can be resurrected and be with my family forever. Because of him I can make mistakes and repent. Because of him I am here with free agency, and he had to suffer for it. I love my Savior, and I know there is nothing I can do to fully pay back what he did for me. I just need to live my life for him. To him. And teach my child,(and future children,) to do the same.
I hope you all had a Happy Easter!

New Moon Midnight Party!
So I went with my fellow Twilighters to go pick up New Moon at Midnight. I know, we are a little crazy. We went out to dinner, and headed over to Walmart. We had a blast. Here's a pic of us at dinner minus Corrine who met up with us later, and Karey's sister who was taking our pic. I love being with me girls and can't wait til June when Eclipse comes out!

Dinosaur Museum
A couple weeks ago Brad took some time off of work. We had a great night together at Anniversary Inn, and the next day we took Kassi to see 'How to Train A Dragon.' Which is a VERY cute movie. Kassi loved it. We saw it on the Imax at Thanksgiving Point which is at the Dinosaur Museum. Afterward we decided to go through the museum as well. We received an annual membership from our realtor when we moved into our house and had not been to the Dinosaur Museum, yet. It was so fun! Here are some pics:
